Issue Position

I will focus on governmental strategies that will give you and your loved ones your opportunity at lasting prosperity. As a local business owner, I know exactly the kinds of challenges that my community members face in today's economy, because I face those same challenges every day! As your representative, I will fight to help area farmers and local communities succeed in this economy and build new jobs for our out-of-work citizens. There are a few major ways that we can fight to make Kentucky the best place for job creation and retention:

Tax reform that removes exemptions and stops punishing working families.
A tax system that draws new businesses to Kentucky.
Free and open market, without government overregulation.
Short-term, sustainable solutions to provide relief for our working citizens today.
Legislation to protect Kentucky Coal from Obama's EPA.
